This post is specially dedicated to my dear friend, Melissa Toh who left us for a better place in the arms of God. I have known you ever since you entered Deyi Secondary School in 2004. Although we were not very close friends, this loss definitely left me feeling devastated. the smile that you always give me never fails to bring a smile to my face whenever i see you. When i found out you entered Temasek Polytechnic, the same school that i studied at, i was somehow really please to see a familiar face. Be it at the bus stop, on the bus or in school, just your presence alone would leave me feeling happy.

As i paid my final respect and said my goodbyes, the uncontrollable tears finally fell and i really could not accept this fact. However, now that you are no longer with us physically, i believe you would be up there watching out for your loved ones and do know that you will always be remembered in my heart. RIP my dear friend.

Sorry for going on hiatus for so long ! Apparently, my blog still has that few dedicated and loyal readers that are asking me to update. So i finally obliged ! (:

8th January

Went back to school for Open House ! Although i never sign up, i thought it would be fun if i just went walk around, OTOT and help out when needed.(Eg. Logcomm)

Meet shauna, germaine and monica in school before deciding to head down to bugis for steamboat. However, we got tempted by Lavender Food Court when we saw it while on bus 23 and i decided to eat there instead so they just followed me down. We ordered lots of food lah ! YUM YUM ! Alicia, Jacen and Zhengyan came down after we finished. We then decided to take the 5th bus that comes along and alight somewhere interesting. Ended up taking bus 130 and alighting at Chimes. Strolled around for awhile and we went to Rafflescity next. Shauna and Zhengyan then disappear for damn long sia. When we finally managed to contact them, they were at the War Memorial Tower and so we went to find them. I was rather surprised when i saw them holding a birthday cake ! JUST FOR ME ! C: Now we can let the pictures do the talking...

My big day ! Went to work as usual but left early for school. Thought that it would be nice to just have dinner with the IITSC people plus my 'BROTHER' too ! Our birthday falls on the SAME DAY, SAME MONTH, SAME YEAR you see ! COOL SHIT ! Just a small group of us having dinner at Techno and chit-chatting and laughters was all that i remembered. Sweet !

Oh btw ! Sorry michelle, you weren't the last person to wish me that night.=x My little godsis called me when i was on my way home. Thats all for my 20th birthday !

PS: Sorry for cancelling the hotel plan due to some family matters. See if its possible next year yeah !

TEAM NYY IS THROUGH TO THE DIRECTOR'S CUP SEMI-FINALS !!

So damn happy today ! With 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss... Our team was tied at 2nd place with Jerven's team. Same points, same goal difference. What to do ? It was to be decided by a PENALTY SHOOTOUT ! Our team was to kick first and YongYi didn't disappoint. Kevin saved a really spectacular shot and the score was 1-0 when it comes down to me, the last taker. Can you feel the pressure mounting as the crowd shouted and cheered you on ?! BUT I SCORED THE WINNING GOAL ! The crowd went wild and we were over the moon lah !! RAWR ! Really proud of Team NYY and lets do our very best for the Semi-Finals next tuesday ! (:

There are 4 games in total:
1) Basketball (5 people per team, 2 reserves(optional))

A short summary of events happening during the past few days...

12 October 2009

Went for my SIP interview at outram. The interview went rather smoothly and i felt it was more of a conversation cos we were laughing throughout the interview. It was pouring when i came out and i was completely drenched when i finally board the cab. Headed back to TP to play for Team IITSC at a Street Soccer tournament. We emerged CHAMPIONS ! Super duper happy lah !

13 October 2009

Went back for my 2nd round of interview and i rejected them. Reason being, i was supposed to work in an environment surrounded by Cancer and AIDS patients. I really didn't feel comfortable knowing that i had to work in such an environment for the next 3-4 months. Headed back to TP after my interview to represent Team IITSC at a Captainball tournament. 2nd place was the eventual result and we were all proud of the effort put in. 3 cheers for IITSC ! (:

Its like 4am now but i seriously want to blog about my day ! First of all, im SAD that i didn't manage to go the Flea Market which was the last day !

5pm, met Kok Peng and Wee Yen at Bugis as we were going to work at Park Royal Hotel at a wedding dinner. KP was really nice to intro us while he himself didn't work. WY and I had totally no experience at banquet but thanks to Jesslyn and the other girl which i forgot her name, we managed to learn alot and handle the guests. However, working at a banquet is seriously no joke ! Supposedly, our shift ends at 11pm but WY and I GEI KIANG, volunteer to work OT till 2am. The pay is shit too. That was my BIGGEST REGRET OF MY LIFE ! This is the first time my right hand was so tired that i could not even answer my phone and hold it up. -.-" Just imagine... At least still can cab home FOC...(:

PS: I really enjoyed the experience of bringing out the cold dish by marching in with the rest of the waiters and waitresses. IT WAS SO FUCKING COOL !

Celebrated Guan Yi's birthday today, together with some 407'09 friends. Went to this place called Crab Party at Serangoon and spent almost 300 bucks on our dinner with just 9 of us. Headed to Vivo next to watch The Ugly Truth. Rather nice movie and there were certain parts which really made us laugh. Wanted to go to Harris Bar at Novena Square but the security guard there told us it was most probably closed since it was already 1am when we reached. We then decided to check out Liquid Kitchen at Thompson but found out that they were closing at 2am so we settled at this place called 'Tong Sui'(chinese means tang sui aka sweet water. LOL !) Chilled there till 2plus ? before daryl drove 7 of us home. Poor nicholas and aaron had to cab home.

Soccer with haoguang, marcus, andee and alvin opposite Deyi Sec this afternoon. Being back at that court brings back memories of our secondary school days and while sitting there reminiscing about those fun and hilarious days, i can't help but wonder if we would still be like this 10 years down the road. If only guanghao was there with us, it could have been a complete reunion of our soccer team, FLOODGATES FC. 4hours of soccer and we only lost 1 match. Still 'Kings-of-the-court' eh ? =p

Cousin introduced me to work at an Apple booth in Lasalle today. I must say its one of the easiest job for me. Whole day just have to get people to fill up the lucky draw forms and see if they want to compete to beat the high score for Guitar Hero to win an IPod Nano. Won this 'Aviators' team 3-2. They were damn sporty and great playing BUT we had TERRY ! He really is the man-of-the-match sia, blocked so many shots. So, now we are through to the next round next week... CAN'T WAIT !

Celebrated Michelle's 18th birthday at her house today. Met Ivy and her at Compass Point to collect her cake from FourLeaves and bought ice before heading back to her house. Her youngest sister was as naughty as ever ! =x Guess what we had for dinner ??? LAKSA STEAMBOAT AND TEPPANYAKI !! How cool is that ??!!@? There was even bacon !! Alicia and I were late today ! We meet at Amk station first and then headed down to Fareast to meet Shauna and Zhenhao. Bumped into Alycia on the train. Its been awhile since i last saw her. Had our lunch at some Japanese store at the basement of Takashimaya. Shopped at Wisma and i bought 2 tshirts and 1 pair of shorts from FleshImp. Alicia got herself a top and 1 jacket too. BTW ! I got Fleshimp membership card ! Wooohooo. Anyone wants to borrow can ask me for it.(: Went to Cineleisure as we wanted to try out Guitar Heroes but there wasn't any available rooms and we ended up slacking on the sofa at E2Max. Played Truth or Dare but infact it was actually all truths as we were all lazy to move. The content was really 'interesting' ! HAHA. Innocent Me and Alicia had a very enriching lesson. Dinner at Pasta Mania.

Thursday 11th June

Started my first day of work at IT fair. I was working for Notebook.com selling LG laptops.(Damn difficult to sell) Meet Shauna, Germaine and Cheekwun at Cityhall station before heading down to Suntec. There were many people working there too ! People including... NG ZHI KIAT, junliang, rina, dawn, jolene, jane, zhen hao, mason. This simply shows how small Singapore is. Sales was bad, i could not sell a single laptop ! Damn demoralising for the first day.

Friday 12th June

Went back to school for SWEN Final Presentation. I think we flunked it once again. -.- speechless...

Slacked with michelle at the 'Apple lab' and we took some pictures.(:

Cabbed to E-Hub with Mario, Michelle and Val in 1 cab. Jolene, Ivy, Nick and Coburn in the other one. We watched Drag me to Hell !!! It was rather hilarious and at times shocking. Surin and Jolene was like laughing throughout the show lahh ! And it doesn't end there, they even imitate the actress in the show ! Alicia, Monica and Audrey came to find us today. I finally get to sell 2 laptops ! Woohoo. Ended quite late and the 3 of them plus Shauna, Germaine and Zhenhao waited for me before we all bus-ed home together. Bus ride home was full of laughter and it was fun ! (:

Sunday 14 June

Last day of IT Fair ! Sold 4 laptops sia. Feeling a sense of accomplishment even though i belong to one of the bottom sales. =x Alicia and Monica came again ! Without Audrey this time. ): Had to help with the closing of booth and my stupid incharge don't want to let us off till arnd 12am ! Literally chiong out of Suntec to go meet the others who were so nice to be waiting for me from 9 plus till 12.(: They got stopped by police and had their names and address taken down. It was nothing actually. Cabbed home with alicia and germaine after that.

It was my first time there and that place is really humongous ! Cabbed to Pasir Ris after we were done with our shopping. I ended up being the chef on the night. -.- But i believe i bbq-ed delicious food ! hahaha. Dawn's friend, Jasmine, came to join us and luckily she was here to look after dawn. That idiot got herself drunk.=x

End up left Eric, Danial, Dane and me to finish the leftovers and clear up the place. Played taxas poker and had our Men's Talk till quite late before we all left together. I declare this a nice outing ! (:

Had ITPM Final Presentation today. It was really unexpected for all of us. A few of us were just stunned and lost for words but overall, i think we still did alright lahh. hiphiphooray ! (:

Had MosBurger with Irving at TM and accompanied him to have his hair cut at JeanYip. I can't believe i fell asleep on the chair while waiting for Irving ! Embarrasing sia. -.-

Went bugis to meet Michelle and Val and i just found out there is this new FleshImp stop there. And i got so attracted with the stuffs they have there ! Give me 1 week and im prepared to splash out on those apparels. WAIT FOR ME ! :D Keep bumping into Randy and Alex during the whole time when we were there, i think they stalking us lor. haha ! =x

ITPM test today. 1 word = FAIL ! -.-" Got to work extremely hard on my assignment already.

Chilled outside LT 10 after the test with Irving, Amanda Lee and HongWee. Reminiscing about the days when it was still INTSC, those days were really fun although i dont know irving yet. Continued to chill at the clubroom after amanda left, and surprisingly, there were so many people there ! Jokes after jokes were shared and we all had a good laugh. There was a 'random spawn' that surprised us all, thanks to a certain somebody huhh ? Hehe.=p Ended off the day with dinner at AngKeong.

Mahjong-ed at Haoguang house today. YuanSheng tricked me lor, i thought got 4 people... end up just the 3 of us. -.- I ended up with the same amount of money when i left. Zhipei came down to TP to meet me for lunch today ! We wanted to meet Manping but apparently she changed her hp no. as we couldn't reach her. Went business school for the Western food with Irving joining us.

Soccer !

Today's soccer was really terrific. Its been quite some time since i last sweat till almost my whole tshirt is soaked(sounds gross, i know but i brought an extra tshirt to change.haha) Run till my legs are wobbly now. Not that im weak but really never play soccer for 4 hours straight since secondary school. Anyway, something unpleasant happened and I hope Ahmad will understand and forgive them. They really feel damn guilty and sincerely wants to apologize. Take care man.(:

Wednesday is a boring day as i have two 3hrs lessons ! ITPM followed by SWEN after a 2hrs break. CHICKEN RICE for lunch at AngKeong with irving and friends ! Damn shiok, im making it a must to have CR at AK once a fortnight.

Cheryl.H text me in the afternoon, saying her lesson is from 2.30pm-4.30pm then ask me want go slack at her 'studio'. I think she got hidden motive. LOL ! Anyway, i still went to find her around 6pm. Made new friends ! Cheris and Wilson, wonderful people.(: Slacked at the studio till Cheryl's uncle came to fetch us back to AMK. Thanks alot yeah ! Sorry ar IVAN ! Miscommunication and ended up having you bring your lappy to school. =x Anyway, went to zhikiat's house after school today. He cooked maggi mee with no ingredients at all lahh ! Then i ask him 'no egg mehh ?', and guess what he did... He brought an egg, asked me to crack it, added it into the maggi and just stirred together with the soup !!! Damn disgusting lahh and he still say eat raw egg is nice -.-But how can i complain when he so nice cook for both of us to eat right ? Hahaha, thanks for the lunch !

Ivan and Zhikiat never come school today !! Ended up meeting some of my frieshies from C244 for lunch at Biz Park. Went Design School to find Cheryl Hee as i got something for her, happy huhh ? hahaha. She brought me into some 'studio' where the design students can slack or do their work there after school. The studio really damn cool cos they got this cozy corner where they had a tv placed there and lots of cushions and some DIY furnitures. Hanged out there for quite awhile and listened to some of cheryl's friends chatting about their Friday night out at Zirca and blahh blahh blahh.. cant really remember. They were a bunch of really funny and happening people and im so going to go back there soonnnnnn...

Started my first day of work for Crocs at Expo on friday, got assigned to help the cashiers with the packing. Surprisingly, both abu and i got assigned to help this cashier by the name of Mei Hui. A really cheery person who is always smiling, she was part of the reason why i enjoyed my 3 days' work there.(:

Presentation today ! Haizzz.. all i can say is i did my best and it was a satisfactory presentation for my part and the rest except for 1 particular person whom i shall not mention.

Just finished my chicken chop at design school when i felt a hand resting on my shoulders...guess who ??? It was none other than.... CHERYL HEE !! Seriously, i was about to call you lor. still say i bo xim, go design school eat never tell you. Then i went to the drinks stall where i felt someone staring at me from the corner of my eye... guess who it was this time ?? It was.... ALICIA YONG !! Supposed to be going out on a 'DATE' with her at 6pm but her lesson ended early and i wouldn't be free so we had no choice but to postpone it to another day.

Bus-ed to Tampines Interchange with Rina and Dawn. Someone 'poke' me when i was on the bus. for the last time, guess who it was this time ?? There he was sitting there... CHENG GUANGHAO !! OMFG lahh, haven seen you for like ages and the chat we had on the bus was really... (dont know what word to use here). Take care my friend, hope you can play soccer real soon.(:

Meet up with Abu at Expo for a Crocs briefing. Headed back to Amk and checked out the new lanshop near Kpool and saw Cedric ! I think that place still isn't as good as Raiders. Went home after that...

Freshies Day

Was early for my 9am lesson today ! Surprising sia. met elaine at kaki bukit bus stop there and we squeezed onto bus 8 together. I swear bus 8 is always packed at this time. -.-

Lesson ended early ! Went to cyber centre to vote with irving and our other classmates. Chatted with my frieshies from c244 while waiting for zhikiat whose lesson end at 1pm. But when he came down, he told me he got FTT at 2pm and he need to go already... another -.-

Went to ITAS with irving for our lunch but it was so packed ! So we order some snacks and join another CLASS of frieshies from c245 where they were sitting on the floor outside ITAS !! Really is whole class lor, they damn united sia.

My rest of the day was pretty boring, dont want to talk about it. However, someone said something to me today which left me feeling really uneasy. That sentence is currently etched deep inside of me...

ps: learnt of a new secret today. heh heh ! =p

Eric and taufiq jio gym today, but i was too lazy to wake up early so only came to school at 1pm. Met zisheng on the bus and we went to Mensa for lunch with eric and taufiq. The dory was simply delicious but the carrots and corn turned me off. -.- Bumped into Ivy after school and we went to the concourse together to meet michelle. Decided to go to hougang mall for Gelare but ivy said she wanted to go home after we accompany her to get her sketch book from Popular as she was really tired. So only me and michelle went to have our ice-cream.

Michelle cab down to AMK Hub to meet me from SengKang. We went to buy some finger-food downstairs as there was some kind of food-fest. If not because ivan house got buffet, i think we are going to spend alot on food there lor. Headed to ivan house after that.

A boring day which turned out fine !

Lesson ended at 1pm today, lunched with zk,lix, clarence and some guy which i dont know who ? Went to concourse and slacked with ivan. We had to look after the posters as the others had to attend their lesson. So there you have it, ivan and me facing each other at the table with him playing some emo songs and me singing as though im at home. Wahahah.too bad for those who wasn't there. It was definitely your loss for not getting the chance to hear me sing. =P

5pm, time for soccer ! Had a date with the GET guys plus Andy and Sky who came down too. The street soccer court and turf court were occupied so we had no choice but to play at the netball court. Although we played for only 1.5 hours, could tell the guys were really tired, especially Sky ! He kept complaining he needs his cigarettes and he was really hilarious. It was my first time seeing him play soccer and it was sight to behold. oops :x
